Insurer premiums up

TAIKANG Life Insurance has said its premiums rose 29 percent to 87 billion yuan (US$13 billion) in 2010.
The Beijing-based insurer expected its 2010 after-tax profit to climb to 2.1 billion yuan. Its solvency ratio rose to 170 percent.
