Chery exports rise over 132 percent

Domestic carmaker Chery Automobile Co exported 10,505 vehicles last month, a 132.5 percent increase over a year ago and 19.2 percent more than the previous month.
By the end of January, China's largest auto exporter had sold nearly 480,000 vehicles overseas since first it began international shipments.
The figure is expected to break the 500,000 benchmark in the first quarter this year.
Chery now has 12 production sites worldwide and a global sales network of more than 1,000 dealerships. Its products are sold to more than 80 countries and regions.
