Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen sales up in Jan

Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile Co Thursday said it set a new monthly sales record last month selling 41,927 cars.

Sales at the joint venture between China's Dongfeng Motor Corp and French carmaker PSA Peugeot Citroen were above 40,000 units for a third consecutive month.

The sales revenue stood at 4.2 billion yuan ($637.6 million), an increase of 12 percent from the same month last year.
