Siemens Q1 profit soars

Siemens beat forecasts for its first-quarter profit helped by robust demand in fast-growing emerging economies including China and India.
It said quarterly order intake - indicator of future sales - rose 160 percent from India and 49 percent from China.
Siemens generated nearly 8 percent of group revenues in China last year.
