Under the invitation of Taiwan foreign trade department 14 Brazilian large scale shoemakers came to Taiwan on November 4, 2010 aiming at the purchases of shoemaking machinery, shoemaking materials as well as finished shoes. The 87 trade match meetings were arranged to meet with 29 Taiwanese enterprises. According to the organizer report, US$ 4.45 million of intention contracts signed during the trade matching.
Mr. Altemar Antunes Bezerra in MSassa fabricas de Fitas e Acessorios Ltd., a large one of shoemaker in Ceara of Brazil, said there are 6 out of 14 visiting Brazilian companies interesting in the Taiwanese shoemaking machinery that meet their requirements, their purchasing value is expected to reach US$0.54 million.
Mr. Glaidston Goncalves de Lucena in P.V.C, Ind Com De Calcados Ltda held talks with twelve Taiwanese companies, and said we have met with 12 Taiwanese companies, and satisfied with their products, six Brazilian companies showed their intention to buy these products, which is worth US$0.5 million.
The Jugang Machinery Co. expressed the appreciation to the meeting of trade match, and said the closer contact to buyers from Brazil’s shoemaking industry has provided a good business chance to expand market on Brazil.
