The green and sustainable growth was the theme of recent Leather Forum held in Haining, leaders and industrial experts and scholars from CLIA, China National Council of Light Industry, China Leather And Footwear Research Institute and Sichuan University attended the forum.
CLIA honorary president Xu Yong made a report firstly with title of efforts to boost energy conservation and reduction of emission, and to promote green tanning industry. Many issues were mentioned in his report, such as problems met on boosting sustainable development and industrial policies changes, environmental protection, current technologies in the effluent treatment as well as recycling economic mode in tanning industry.
Many speeches were made during the forum, valuable comments and suggestions collected for Haining leather industry sustainable growth were the most important agenda for the meeting.
