On a recent survey by a reporter to 23 leading brand of lady’s shoes in Wenzhou city 11 of them have opened ten thousand shoe stores or franchise stores national wide, and expected to add more by the end of this year.
A group of lady’s shoe brand in Wenzhou city has grown fast in recent two years due to opening retail stores and brand promotion. 300 lady’s shoe companies produced 26 billion yuan of output value in 2009, according to secretary general Xie Rongfang with the Wenzhou Footwear and Leather Association, Xie said lady’s shoe in Wenzhou city has take a lead in the awareness of creation of brand and marketing compared with the cities of Chengdu and Guangdong.
The reporter said footwear brand of Mingdian started to build franchise stores in 2009, and will increase the numbers to 2000 by the end of this year.
Footwear Niersen also invested 30 million yuan on expansion of their retail stores to over 2000 national wide and achieve remarkable sales. The other lady’s shoe brand like Fengyeniao opened more than six hundred new retail stores this year.
We spent huge on promotion of our brand, one of shoe owner told the reporter during the survey, because we know fame brand can help us earn more money, many companies in Wenzhou have invited film stars as their Brand Ambassador.
