In the first half of this year sales situation in domestic market for shoes is not optimistic as a whole, huge stockpile can be seen in many shoemaking factories in Wenzhou city, according to a recent survey conducted on several footwear industrial parks in Wenzhou city.
The survey carried out in the areas including Lucheng, Wenzhou Economic And Developing Zone, Shoe Capital Industrial Park And Oubei that are most important footwear production base for man’s shoes. Many branded shoes in Yongjia County like Aokang, Ritai, Red Dragonfly, King Spider and so on achieved remarkable performance in internal market. One of shoemakers in Lucheng district said they produced 80,000 pairs of boy’s shoes in the first half, 20,000 pairs piled on stock, and many other companies in this area met the same situation like us. Sales for lady’s shoes see less stock because production dropped.
The survey shows that some large scale companies increased man’s shoe production or updated the production lines in the first half, they thought the sales will grow because sale season will be arrived with autumn and winter coming.
The survey summarized the reasons and said the intensive competition, increased production and production costs are blamed for stockpiles.
