HK enterprises aim at mainland online market.

When the number of netizens in mainland China reaches 4000 million and online shopping becomes a new trend, Hong Kong enterprises start to pay attention to this huge online market. 50 famous brands including Chow Taifook, Giordano, and Bossini all opened their online shops at Taobao with the help of HKTDC. Their sales value in July reaches 110,000 Yuan.

According to the director of manufacturing of HKTDC, since HKTDC's cooperation with Taobao, over 100 enterprises applied for the opening of online shops at Taobao. Some of them were large enterprises and many are medium and small sized enterprises. Now, 50 enterprises have already had their own online shops at Taobao.

A report shows that the online consumption in mainland China reaches 250 billion Yuan last year with a growth of over 80%. So these enterprises are all optimistic about the online market in the future.
