In July, according to the data of hundred large-scale retail enterprises of China, the amount of garment retail sales increases 6.5% compared to the same period last year. But compared to last month, it is decreases 9.6%, remains the same with March, April and May.
The amount of clothing retail salesof hundred large-scale retailing enterprises from January to July is 5.93 Billion Yuan, increasing 15.3% compared to the same period last year, reaches the peak point since 2007. The garment retail sales quantity increases 12.9%, compared to the same period of last year increased 7.5%.
In July, the price of garments increases because of the price increasing of raw material, which lead to the growth rate of garment retail sales quantity decreases than each month of first half year. The garment retail sales quantity of July is 2.1548 Million pcs, increasing 7.5%. But compared to last month, it decreased 8%. Judging from that the garment retail sales quantity has deceased than other month of 2010.
