Highlights of ITMA ASIA + CITME 2010

Executive Vice Chairman of the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Mr. Xu Yinxin held a conference to introduce the coming ITMA ASIA + CITME 2010. Highlights of this expo were center.

According to Mr. Du Juezhou, the recession of global textile industry relieved judging from the number of expected visitors and exhibitors. After economy crisis, developed countries started to pay attention to entity economy. Moreover, they began to stimulate it. Under crisis, enterprises were pushed to develop new technology. So for Mr. Du Juezhou, the first highlight of this expo was the high tech and low carbon textile machinery with excellent performance produced by famous enterprises of developed countries.

The second highlight for Mr. DU was the huge progress of Chinese textile machinery. During first four months of 2010, the fixed investment in textile increased by 19% compared to the same time last year. Sales value of textile machinery mounted by 51.64% compared to the same time last year. Among all textile machines bought by domestic textile enterprises, 74.54% were domestic machines. Last year, this digital was 50%. In his mind, such growth could embody the progress of domestic textile machines.

The third highlight is the trend of global textile industry. China aimed to be a strong power in global textile industry in the next 10 years. Domestic textile enterprises needed to buy highly advanced machines. They also needed to build images of their enterprises.

Mr. Du predicted that the energy saving and low carbon technology must be another highlight.
