The first R&D center of hometex featured with Dunhuang artistic elements, Lansiyu Dunhuang Hometex R&D Center was established. On 2nd, July, president of Nantong Textile Vocational Technology College, Mr. Wang Yi and Chairman of Lansiyu Hometex Co., Ltd, Mr. Yu Jianhui attended the opening ceremony. This cooperation between Nantong Textile Vocational Technology College and Lansiyu Hometex Co., Ltd not only made Dunhuang arts come into daily life but also promoted the development of Lansiyu Co., Ltd.
There were a lot of research institutions, which did research about Dunhuang frescos, sculptures, Buddhism culture and music and so on around the world. However, there was not any organization which applied Dunhuang arts to products. So, Lansiyu Dunhuang Hometex R&D Center became the first one.
Lansiyu Dunhuang Hometex R&D Center consisted of Dunhuang Hometex fabrics design office, Dunhuang Hometex art cloth design office and hometex accessories design office. Since December of 2009, 18 students' works have been selected.
