Organized by China Silk Association and sponsored by Shengzhou Municipal Government, "Shengzhou Tie Cup" 2010 National Silk Fashion Design Competition starts. This is the second silk fashion design competition organized by China Silk Association after 1998.
This competition aims to improve the design of silk products and discover design talents. The theme of this competition is "Urban New Silk Road", which fully illustrates the idea of China Silk Association- combine traditional silk with modern fashion perfectly. Shengzhou Municipal Government plays a key role in promoting this competition. Silk in Shengzhou boasts of long history and good quality. The tie industry in Shengzhou ranks top in China. The cooperation between China Silk Association and Shengzhou Municipal Government can promote both the development of silk industry and city.
One gold price winner, 2 sliver price winners and 3 bronze winners will be selected in the final of this competition. Creations which are qualified to compete at the final will have the opportunity to be featured in Beijing.
