In Beijing Hotel, the opening ceremony of 2010 China fashion design contest which is organized by China Garment Association, China Textile News and Shaoxing County Government takes place on 25th, March. It is also a promotion conference for 2010 China Keqiao International Textile Exhibition.
Established in 2009, China Fashion Design Contest became an important part of 2009 China Fashion Week and 2009 China Keqiao International Textile Exhibition from the very beginning. It works as a bridge to bring new designs and ideas to textile enterprises in Keqiao.
2010 is a vital year for China Textile Industry. The whole industry is striving to upgrade and transform the pattern of growth. Moreover, brand strategy and technology are keys to the transform of growth pattern.
The theme of this contest is “a more open China ". This contest aims at discovering talent designers and leading the fashion trend. It works with domestic and international brands, freelance designers and famous garment colleges to help the establishment of Keqiao creative textile and garment industry base and make China Textile City more important in the international industry chain. In 2009, it receives around one thousand designs. In 2010, the organizing committee will invite well- known garment enterprises and design offices to participate this contest.
This contest will be held during 2010 China Keqiao International Textile Exhibition. This exhibition takes place from 25th October to 28th October in China Textile City, Keqiao. It is one of top professional exhibitions of Textile in China.
