China Fashion Week (2010/2011 A/W collection) will hold from 24th March to 30th March in Beijing. During this week, fashion shows, forums and contests will be organized. About 2000 designs from 25 brands both home and abroad, 20 famous designers, 102 new designers and graduates of 5 colleges will appear in this week, including Lea Seong, NUIT BLANCHE , DORIAN HO, FERAUD, Jean Pierre Marty and so on.
Three contests will hold for those emerging designers. They are HEMPEL AWARD, WSM Award and Cherry Cup.
In addition, Academy of Arts&Design Tsinghuan University, Konkuk University, Keimyung University, Beijing Institute of fashion technology and Shih Chien University will hold fashion shows for their excellent graduates' designs.
Started from 1997, China fashion week has held 540 fashion shows for over 230 designers and 280 brands from China, Japan, Italy and so on.
After 13 years' development, China Fashion Week has become a platform for fashion trend, design and image promotion. It attracts attention from staff in garment filed and press both home and abroad.
