The first day (March30) of PSF keynote speech was "Cultural Understanding of China in Rapid Transformation-Beyond Luxury Consumption" by Mr. Andrew Y.Wu, LVMH Group Director, China. His speech was humorous and full of wisdom. It aroused blasts of applause from the audiences.He expounded the development and change in China during the recent 20 years,especially the change of concept in fashion and consumption.

The second day (March31) of PSF special address " Global Sourcing after the Crisis-Lessons learnt- Is China still the No.1 Sourcing Country?" by Prof. Dr. Helmut Merkel, Managing Shareholder, EurAsia Global Concept Ltd.He affirmatively said China is still the No.1 Sourcing Country after the Crisis based on the data he collected. He explained that it is because China has abound of skillful workers, long coastline and opening-up policy. He cited some data from EFU (www.efu.com.cn), for example the China garment enterprises data base. He told Anny (a representative from EFU) that he wants to be a member of EFU.
