Gary Evans -- Furniture Today, January 6, 2010

GUANGZHOU, China — Intertextile Guangzhou Hometextile China will be held in new halls at the China Import and Export Fair Panzhou Complex, where it will feature what sponsors say are the latest products, designs and information on textiles from over 200 exhibitors.

Intertextile will take place is halls 15.2 and 16.2 of Zone C of the fairground in a display area of 215,280 square feet March 18-21. By moving up one level to an exhibition space parallel with the sky bridge, fair officials said the event will be better connected to the seven other home-related trade events taking place at the 24th China International Furniture Fair.

Sponsors said the business platform provided by Intertextile Guangzhou Hometextile China will provide access to domestic and international buyers. Last year the show welcomed 16,400 buyers from 122 countries and regions, including importers, exporters, wholesalers, retailers and contractors.

Showing for the first time at the Guangzhou event will be the well-known design firm Atelier Mineeda from Kyoto, Japan.
