China: Large retailers "fade from" franchising market of sports wear

Belle and Daphne, the listed companies with total sales volume ranking top two in China's women's footwear market, and also among the most important franchisees of Nike and Adidas in China, both issued the measures to draw out of the dealership of international sports wear recently.

The move coincided with Nike and Adidas' reevaluation of China's distribution system and increase in domestic direct stores. Although Belle and Daphne have not stated whether their "fading out" is related to Nike and Adidas' policies, they have definitely expressed their disinterest in sports wear on different occasions.
