On July 26, at Jintan Jiangsu Province, Chinese Textile Industry Association vice president Wang Tiankai said, many index numbers showed that Chinese textile industry had recovered.
On the High-level Forum on Chinese Apparel Export, Wang said, from January to May, more than 50 thousand big textile companies (earning 5 million or more per year) had achieved a gross industry output of 1350 billion RMB, increased by 5.21%. Although the textile export increase rate declined a little, the percentage of the international market remained stable, and the occupation of American market increased by 4 percent.
Wang also said, from January to May, Chinese big textile companies had made 1050 billion domestic sales values, increased by almost 10 percent. Domestic textile and apparel market environment is becoming better, and it will benefit the textile industry. (Freedom)
