In order to deal with trade friction and provide accurate trade barriers information to enterprises, Haining Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau and China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Textiles establish “Textiles Trade Barriers Information Exchange System”.
Textile is a traditional industry in Haining city as well as its important component of exports. First half of this year, Haining textile exports reached 505 million U.S dollars, accounting for the city’s 46.61% of total exports. However, in the global financial crisis, trade protectionism came back to increase the export risk of textiles.
The objectives of trade barriers information exchange system are related to the latest trade information sharing, the regular analysis of trade situation.
