Shanghai's service trade volume exceeds 100 billion U.S. dollars

According to the latest data released by the Commerce Department of China, Shanghai's total export-import volume of service trade in 2010 is 104.67 billion dollars, a 40 percent year-on-year growth, with exports totaling 40.6 billion U.S. dollars and the imports, 64.03 billion U.S. dollars.
In 2010, Shanghai's trade in services has made a great contribution to the local economy, climbing up to 22.1 percent of the total volume of the Shanghai's international trade and 41.2 percent of the city s total output value.
