On April 7, 2010, Yuan Chunqing, governor of Shaanxi Province, met Tan Xuguang, chairman of Weichai Power at the provincial reception hall.
Yuan Chunqing congratulated Weichai Power's good achievements in recent years and thanked for a positive contribution that Weichai Power had made for the development of Shaanxi Province's manufacturing.
He affirmed the cooperation model between Weichai Power and companies of Shaanxi Province, and would support the continuous development of Weichai Power in Shaanxi Province.
Tan Xuguang said, Weichai Power thanked Shaanxi Provincial Government's support, and had confidence of further development in Shaanxi Province. On the base of having decided to invest five billion yuan in new business, Weichai Power would make further development plan which could be seriously implemented. Weichai Power would make new contributions to Shaanxi Province's development.
Qin Zheng, Shaanxi Provincial Government Secretary, and other directors who were from the provincial Development and Reform Commission, Industry and Information Department, Ministry of Finance, the SAC, Shaanxi Automobile Group, Shaanxi Fast Auto Drive Group, attended the meeting. Xu Xinyu and Zhang Quan, two Weichai Power Executive Presidents, also attended the meeting.
