Li Yizhong, Minister of Industry and Information Technology paid an inspection visit to the port base of Shanghai Electric accompanied by Ai Baojun, Vice Mayor of Shanghai in the afternoon of May 18. Huang Dinan, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Electric (Group) Corporation, Xu Ziying, and Vice President of Shanghai Electric (Group) Corporation accompanied this inspection.
Li Yizhong pointed out in the inspection that nuclear power, wind power and other clean energy had great prospects and development potential. He hoped that Shanghai Electric could do well in overall industrial planning for new energy, support strong enterprises and realize sustainable and favorable development. Meanwhile, Shanghai Electric should further enhance the level and capacity of manufacturing and promote fast and favorable development of China's new energy industry through the introduction, absorption and assimilation of advanced foreign technology.
