Shanghai Electric's Interim Results Announcement 2010 successfully held in Shanghai and Hong Kong
Shanghai Electric Group Company Limited held its interim results announcement 2010 in Shanghai and Hong Kong on 23 and 24 August 2010 respectively. Mr. Xu Jianguo, Chairman & Chief Executive officer; Mr. Zhang Suxin, Executive Director; Mr. Yu Yingui, Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer and Mr. Andrew Li, Company Secretary and Assistant to the President of the Company attended the results announcement presentations and answered the questions from analysts and investors.
The Company s roadshow team also traveled to Hong Kong, Singapore, Beijing, Shenzhen and Guangzhou to visit 28 institutional investors including its major shareholders. A total of 26 one-on-one meetings or conferences were held in order to better communicate the Company s operating results and prospects of core businesses with the investors.
During the roadshow, what the investors concern the most is the strategic positioning of the Company s four core businesses, new orders status for its core businesses, its future profitability and its new growth drivers.
The interim results announcement of Shanghai Electric attracted widespread attention from the market, with 90 financial analysts and journalists attending the presentations in Shanghai and Hong Kong. Analysts, journalists and investors from various institutions participated in the presentations and raised their questions, showing they are highly interested in the Company s operations and development.
