Mr. Yu Zhengsheng, member of the Political Bureau ofthe CPC Central Committee and Secretary of theShanghai Municipal Party Committee, met with Mr. Dhirubhai Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Group

Mr. Yu Zhengsheng, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, and Mr. Ai Baojun, vice mayor of Shanghai, met with Mr. Dhirubhai Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Group, in the morning of 28 October 2010, and expressed their welcome to him for visiting Shanghai.

Mr. Yu said at the meeting that India has a vast territory and is abundant in resources with very promising outlook while Shanghai Electric has relatively strong capacity in the manufacture of equipments for power stations. We fully support the overseas expansion of Shanghai enterprises in an active manner, and congratulate for the success in the cooperation and joint development between Shanghai Electric and Reliance Group beforehand.

The meeting was also attended by Mr. Xu Jianguo, Chairman of Shanghai Electric Group; Mr. Huang Dinan, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Electric Group; and Mr. Zheng Jianhua, President of Shanghai Electric Power Generation Group.
