In recent years, taking advantages of equipments, technology and human talents, as well as organization function of SBU, TISCO has energetically developed a lot of products with high added-value and high-tech content, among which 21 products, including railway steel, duplex steel, heat resistant steel, coin steel, axle steel, pure iron and steel with 9% Ni, rank top in domestic market share.

By tracking the trends of steel application in key industries, recommending proper products to customers, strengthening communication with users in terms of technique and product, conducting two-way trainings and supplying other appreciate services, TISCO makes its key products taking growing amount of market share and successfully replacing the imported products. After making a breakthrough in the area of chemical ship building, TISCO s 2205 duplex stainless steel has started to step into state nuclear project and petrifaction industry; with the success in developing 2205 duplex stainless cold rolled wide coil with minimum thickness of 0.6mm, batch supplies of hot coils and cold coils have become a reality; the successful development of S32750 super duplex stainless steel plate, which is the first time in China, realize the replacement to imported product; the batch production of S32101 duplex stainless steel for nuclear installations, filling the blank in Chinese steel industry, makes TISCO to be the first local supplier of such product with extra-width and extra-length. As for railway steel, for the first time, imported stainless steel panel was replaced by local product in train body of Beijing No.4 subway line, which results in a fact that 100% of stainless steel in line No.4 is made by TISCO. The new TD305B heat resistant steel fills the blank of China s material market. TISCO s high-end cold-rolled silicon steel with thick coat are applied in million KW coal power station and nuclear power station; the output of high-end cold-rolled silicon steel with high magnetic induction and low iron loss reaches 120,000 ton per year and maintain its No.1 position in domestic market share. And for the first time, TISCO s planished steel plate is used in marine project.
Stabilize the market with upgraded products. The key factors for TISCO to keep its old brand competitive products eternally popular are reliable quality, various types and good property. In recent years, TISCO has been appointed as dedicated pure iron supplier to domestic war industry, state s key projects and most advanced technique areas; market share of DT4 in China is over 80%, TISCO keeps itself as the sole manufacturer of DT8 and DT9 in China. The axle steel, mainly focusing on vehicle axle (LZ 40 and LZ 50) and machine axle (JZ, JZ35), is not only supplied to local customer, but also exported to other countries, including the U.S.A., South Korea, Vietnam and India.
