The grand ceremony of 2003' China Top Ten News Figures in Science and Technology was held in People's Hall on June 20. Kong Liming, the state model worker, Baosteel technical expert, staff of Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. was honored the title. Kong Liming, highly praised as worker inventor, has tackled more than 340 difficult problems of different types of equipment for Baosteel, creating more than 14 million Yuan of benefit, completing 22 research projects and owning 52 patents, which is the most of personal professional patents in Shanghai.
