Pilot Work of Corruption Prevention Launched in Zhangye City of Gansu Province

After the pilot work of corruption prevention of Gansu Province was launched, according to the demand of the Scientific Outlook on Development, Zhangye City further sorted out its working concept, strengthened organization and leadership, intensified measures, consolidated the goals and responsibilities and actively launched the pilot work of corruption prevention.

First, earnestly launching the two pilot projects of the constructing the assessment system of diligence and honesty of leading departments and leading cadres and standardizing the discretion in administrative punishment affirmed by the CPC Gansu Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection. The city continues to launch the pilot works of assessing the diligence and honesty of leading departments and leading cadres in Shandan and Minle counties and standardizing the discretion in administrative punishment in Ganzhou District.

Meanwhile, three to five discipline and law enforcement departments and guilds were selected to implement the projects simultaneously.

Second, continuing to promote pilot work of electronic supervision system construction and power restraint and supervision in important links and key posts. On the basis of the pilot work of electronic supervision system construction and power restraint and supervision in important links and key posts launched last year, the city strengthens its efforts of linking the system with the electronic supervision system of the CPC Gansu Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and the promotion and utilization of the software developed so as to expand the scope of electronic supervision and actively explore to launch electronic supervision over important engineering projects.

Some mature experience and practices during the pilot work will be upgraded to systems and regulations in proper time and promoted to the whole city.

Third, actively launching the pilot work by integrating the forces of discipline inspection and supervision. In light of the important works and key issues facing the discipline inspection and supervision work, the city has integrated the forces of heads of the discipline inspection groups of the municipal level so as to explore ways to effectively resolve the problems of disintegrated forces and insufficient joint efforts.

Two counties and districts were selected to integrate the forces of grassroots discipline inspection and supervision cadres to give full play to the roles of the discipline inspection and supervision groups in discipline supervision and political guarantee.
