Mechanism of Across-the-Board Meeting on Corruption Prevention Established in Wuwei City of Gansu Province

In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the Key Rectification Plan of Shiyanghe River Valley and further strengthen the organization and coordination of the pilot program of corruption prevention, Wuwei City of Gansu Province recently established the mechanism of across-the-board meeting on corruption prevention in the key rectification project in Shiyanghe river valley.

The mechanism identified 11 departments of discipline inspection, procuratorate, supervision, development and reform, agricultural commission, land and resource, water affairs, agriculture and animal husbandry, forestry, finance and audit as its member units, clarified its major functions and responsibilities, discussion regulations, responsibility division among the member units and the responsibilities of the office of the across-the-board meeting.

The major responsibilities of the meeting include: coordinating, guiding, supervising and inspecting the pilot program of corruption prevention, effectively combining supervision forces to form the joint efforts, listening to the reports on the pilot program of corruption prevention in the key rectification project in Shiyanghe river valley, researching the methods to resolve the problems in the pilot program of corruption prevention in key rectification program, discussing the audit, examination, supervision and inspection of the project, listening to the reports of the major heads of construction units on the pilot program of corruption prevention in the key rectification project in Shiyanghe river valley, convening conferences related to supervision affairs in construction units, participating in the conferences related to supervision affairs in construction units, researching the implementation of law-enforcement supervision and efficiency supervision on related functioning departments, researching the important events that should be reported to the CPC Wuwei Municipal Committee, Wuwei Municipal Government and the leading group of the pilot program of corruption prevention, researching the important problems that need to be resolved by consultation in the important system construction of the pilot program of corruption prevention, and coordinating and resolving other important problems in the pilot program of corruption prevention.
