Zhuzhou City Government to Enhance Cooperation with Hunan Commerce Department

A cooperation agreement was signed between Head of Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce Liu Jie and Deputy Secretary of the CPC Zhuzhou Municipal Committee Wang Qun on Dec. 14, 2010, in an attempt to jointly build a "Two-oriented" Society and promote the commercial development in Zhuzhou.

The Department of Commerce of Hunan Province agreed to focus on the introduction and promotion of Zhuzhou in major commerce and trade fairs in the future. In addition, the department will invite World Top 500 enterprises and renowned public companies to take part in the investment solicitation activities held in Zhuzhou.

According to the agreement, the department will back up the city in stepping up the pace of undertaking industrial transfer, developping processing trade and expanding foreign trade. It will help the city turn Yunlong Demonstrative Zone into a service outsourcing model throughout the province. It will also encourage the city to invest and cooperate outside the province in such fields as international sailor cultivation and introduction, minerals exploitation and construction industry.

Besides, the department will make efforts to help Zhuzhou improve systems related to logistics and farmers' markets and build hog farms. It is said that the two sides will set up systems of holding conferences or consultations so as to promote mutual cooperation.
