Wind Blue Warning Was Issued in Jinan: the Highest Wind Power Will Reach 9th Grade. There will be blowing sand or dust.

Despite of the bright and beautiful weather in Jinan on the morning of April 7, a 6~7-grade wind blew with the coming of weak cold air at 2p.m., and the dusty sand hence caused made passers hardly open their eyes.
The latest data of meteorology shows that there will be a strong southwester and blowing dusty sand from the night of April 7 to the daytime of April 8. A cold current will again affect northern China on weekend, which will cause a sharp drop of temperature.
At 3 p.m. April 7, Jinan Meteorological Observatory announced the wind blue warning signal: a 5-grade southwester is predicted to happen on the night of April 7, and a 7~8-grade gust will appear; on April 8, the southwester will increase to 6 grades and the gust will increase to 8~9 grades. Experts say that the sand and dust weather won t be too serious for it is caused by local sand and dust blown by strong wind which is mainly due to the strong wind power and dry air. From April 10 to 12, it will be mostly cloudy in Jinan and the air temperature will drop seriously due to the cold air moving southwards.
