Zhang Jianguo met with Jiang Jiemin and his delegation

Jinan, July 28 Vice Secretary of Jinan Municipal Party Committee and Mayor Zhang Jianguo met with General Manager of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) and Secretary of Leading Party Group Jiang Jiemin and his delegation.In the afternoon, Zhang Jianguo accompanied Jiang Jiemin and his delegation investigated CNPC Jichai Power Equipment Company.

CNPC is an integrated international energy company covering oil gas business, engineering technical services, petroleum engineering construction, petroleum equipment manufacturing, financial services and new energy development. It is an important backbone state-owned enterprise as well as a main manufacturer and supplier of China s oil gas.

The company has successively ranked top 10 among the world s petroleum companies for nine years and ranks top 10 in 2010 world s top 500 enterprises. The renamed CNPC Jichai Power Equipment Company began to invest over 2 billion yuan in phase II project construction in 2009, whose operation revenue is planned to reach over 5 billion yuan in 2012, and to become the most competitive enterprise in research, development and manufacturing special power equipments.

Over the years, CNPC has given great support for Jinan s economic and social development. And I hope it could increase its investment in Jinan to expand areas of cooperation and realize win-win, said Zhang Jianguo.

Jiang Jiemin showed his gratitude to Jinan for her long-term support. As the capital city of Shandong province, a big economic province, Jinan has great development potential. CNPC will further increase its development efforts and investment scale in Jinan to constantly expand cooperative areas and provide guarantee for Jinan s economic and social development, said Jiang Jiemin.
