Zhongshan Daily became a member of World Association of Chinese Newspapers

The 43rd annual conference of the World Association of Chinese Newspapers was held ceremoniously in Penang, Malaya, yesterday. More than 100 Chinese media groups gathered there to discuss the development of Chinese newspapers. In the conference of the executive council held on the night of Dec, 19th, Zhongshan Daily was admitted to join the World Association of Chinese Newspapers as an official member, the only one to be admitted in the association this year.

The World Association of Chinese Newspapers was set up in 1968, and is the most influential and time-honored international association of Chinese newspapers, with more than 100 members around the world.
