The 2009 GDP of Humen Town, the largest apparel manufacturing area in Dongguan, increased by 13.5% from that recorded in 2008. Thi represents the largest growth amongst all districts and towns around Dongguan as reported by the Dongguan Daily.
The GPD of Humen increased by 13.5% to reach RMB24.376 billion in 2009. The total industrial output value reached RMB50.916 billion, up by 6.3%. Humen Government's revenue amounted to RMB1.434 billion, up by 20.7%, according to the report.
