Entry-Exit service consultation voice call opened by Dongguan Public Security Bureau has been in formal operation since May 11. Residents can dial 22480057 or 22466891 to consult entry-exit related business more conveniently.
As staff from the division of entry-exit administration of the bureau introduced, the two consultation lines are so hot that they receive several thousand calls per month and frequently reach as much as 10 thousand calls. Since they are single-line calls, residents complain about the difficulty in connecting for consultation from time to time.
The new voice call service will offer 30 lines which will make it easier to access. The consultation content, all in Chinese, will be divided into five categories according to the identity of the applicants, namely "mainland residents", "Taiwan residents", "Hong Kong or Macao residents", "Foreigners", and "Overseas Chinese". The applicants can choose the relevant service according to the voice prompt.
