Famous music troupes and musicians from the countries along side the Danube river, the cradle of great musicians and classics, will perform with China's best in Yulan Theatre tonight and tomorrow. It is a good chance to enjoy the fusion of Chinese music and foreign music on the same stage.
"It's beautiful and special. I will take it always with me." marveled Evelin Novak, the Croatian soprano during her tour around Dongguan's Songshan Lake Science & Technology Industrial Park yesterday accompanied by another three musicians. Evelin even sang a melody on site to express her feelings toward Dongguan. "If you want to hear me sing higher notes, come to the coming concert!" Evelin joked.
"Music is the best way to integrate," said Jovan Bogosavljevic, the violinist from the Republic of Serbia. According to Jovan, he is going to present Johann Strauss's Die Fledermaus Overture and Beethoven's Tomance in F No. 2, which are two quite different-style classical pieces contrasted to each other.
Jointly organized by Guangdong TV Station and Dongguan Broadcasting Station, The Journey of Danube river-Chinese and Foreign theme concert will be great feast to your eyes and ears blending Chinese and Western elements.
