A delegation led by Mr. Liu Zhigeng, the Secretary of Dongguan Municipal Committee of the CPC, kick off a 10-day visit Monday to U.S. and Canada for economic cooperation.
The delegation will first visit OPPO Digital which is the American Division of OPPO Electronics Corp., Ltd, an electronics manufacturer based in Dongguan. The division was founded in California in 2004, and has maintained good reputation in making DVD players, especially for its universal Blu-ray player. Then the delegation will hold investment seminars in Santiago with local commerce chambers and investment promotion agencies.
The delegation s last stop will be in Canada to hold investment seminar with local cultural foundations and commerce chambers. The delegation will also talks with SML, a Canadian supplier of garment trip, about expanding its investment in Dongguan.
