The government of Nancheng District of Dongguan announced that it will donate RMB 1.45 million to Nanxiong county in Northern part of Guangdong Province for Poverty Alleviation.
The money will be donated to five poverty-stricken villages in Nanxiong, for 30 projects that included infrastructure construction, homes building, education and employment. Among them, 100 thousand yuan will be used to repair dilapidated houses for four families, and 200 thousand yuan will go toward safe drinking water projects for two of the five villages.
