Academician  of  Irish  Royal  Academy  of  Sciences  Appointed  Visiting  Professor  of  ECUST

The Academician of Irish Royal Academy of Sciences, Professor Robbie Burch, from the British Queen's University, Belfast, was appointed a visiting professor of East China University of Science and Technology. The appointment ceremony was held on May 11, 2009.
Professor Ma Yulu, the Vice President of ECUST made a welcome speech, and presented Professor Robbie Burch the Letter of Appointment. Professor Ma also helped him to pin on the school badge of ECUST.
Professor Robbie Burch is an internationally well-known scholar in the field of environment catalysis and energy catalysis, with over 250 academic articles published of which more than 10 articles were cited as many as 100 times, H-index being 46. Professor Robbie Burch has also successfully applied for a number of patents.
