The inauguration ceremony of two national bases for high-tech industry is held in Dalian

The inauguration ceremony of the National High-tech Industry Base of New Energy and the National High-tech Industry Base of CNC Machines Tools was held at the Shangri-La Hotel Dalian yesterday. Du Zhanyuan, vice minister of China s Ministry of Science and Technology, and Mayor Li Wancai unveiled plaque for the two bases together. Vice Mayor Qu Xiaofei officiated at the ceremony. So far, Dalian has secured several industrial bases like LED, software, new energy and high-tech CNC machine tools, etc.
The construction of a high-tech industry base is one of the key elements of the Guide for Technological Innovation , whose purpose is that, in relying on industry bases, we will promote the coordination of personnel, bases and project development; assemble the elements of knowledge, skills, talent, capital and policies; speed up the industrialization of high-tech achievements; foster strategic and emerging industries and compete to occupy a commanding height of future economic development.
Dalian has paced the whole nation in the construction of a high-tech industry base. With the great importance attached to it by the Dalian Party Committee and the Dalian Municipal Government, high-tech industry has developed rapidly, and the cultivation of strategic emerging industries has been successfully achieved, all of which played an important role in building an innovative city and in promoting the macro-urbanization of Dalian. In the area of CNC machine tools, Dalian has a relatively complete industrial chain and an obvious industrial cluster. An industrial cluster represented by some enterprises, such as Dalian Machine Tool Group Corp., Dalian Guangyang Science & Technology Engineering Co. Ltd and Dalian Golden CNC Group Corp., has formed and been funded with 54.3 million yuan for the project "High-speed multi-axis gantry machining center", which is one of the country s plans to support science and technology projects. In the field of new energy, Dalian has rapidly advanced in wind energy equipment, fuel cells, solar energy and R & D applications of new energy vehicles, becoming one of the pilot cities of 10 Cities, 1,000 Vehicles: energy-saving and new energy vehicles ; 10 Cities, 10,000 Lights: semiconductor lighting ; and the "Golden Sun Demonstration Project .
