"Isetan" one of world's top 500 companies intends to develop in Dalian

On October 16, Li Wancai, vice secretary of the CPC Dalian Municipal Committee, and acting mayor met Toshiaki Nakagawa, executive director of the Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings Ltd. and his team members at the municipal government building.
As one of the world's top 500 companies, Isetan is a leading retail group in Japan and has established over 100 retail outlets around the world. Currently there are outlets in Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Jinan, Chengdu and Shenyang. Li Wancai welcomed Toshiaki Nakagawa to Dalian. "The core position of Dalian in the coastal economic belt has attracted foreign and domestic attention and also created great opportunities for the development of the retail industry. Isetan decision to invest in Dalian displays the company's investment confidence in Dalian and strategic vision for lone-term development. We hope that both sides will carry out substantive cooperation sooner and meet the consumption demands of Dalian citizens and Japanese friends in Dalian", said Li.
Toshiaki Nakagawa considers Dalian as a candidate city for Isetan to expand investment and he looks forward to cooperating with such a vigorous city.
