Beijing Hyundai No. 3 Factory Started the Construction

Beijing Hyundai No. 3 Factory started the construction on February 22, 2011 and the steel structure of the coating workshop was launched on the same day. The standing member of district party committee and deputy chief, Lin Xiangyang, attended the launching ceremony.
Beijing Hyundai No. 3 Factory is located at Yangzhen Industrial Development Zone and laid a foundation on November 28, 2010. With the efforts of the relevant units, the project is smoothly constructing. The launching of the coating workshop s steel structure marked that the project entered into a landmark stage- the factory s construction was launched comprehensively.
It is learned that Beijing Hyundai No. 3 Factory involves the investment of over 6.5 Billion RMB and is constructed by twp phases. It is expected that the project will put into operation at the second half of 2012. The productivity of Phase I is 300000 cars and the productivity of Phase I is 400000 cars. Then, the total productivity of Beijing Hyundai will jump into one million cars.
It is also learned that as the Sino-Korean motor joint venture example, in these eight years since the establishment, Beijing Hyundai constantly breaks the sales and production record with the modern speed . In 2010, the sales volume of Beijing Hyundai exceeded 700000 cars and broke a historical record; the sales income reached 62.5 Billion RMB in 2010. Its market share reached 6.3% in China, ranking the fourth place in the industry.
