National Geology Information Technology Industrial Park Started its Construction

National Geology Information Technology Industrial Park started its construction on March 6, 2011. The deputy chairman of Ministry of Land and Resource, member of department party, general secretary and chairman of state survey and drawing bureau party, Mr. Xu Deming, deputy mayor of Beijing, Gou Zhongwen, and leaders of Shunyi District, Zhang Yankun, Wang Gang, Li Yousheng, Lin Xiangyang and Zhao Guiheng attended the construction commencement ceremony.
National Geology Information Technology Industrial Park is located at Guomen Business Area of Shunyi District with the total land area of over 1000 Mu, involving the total investment of 15 Billion RMB. The construction of Phase I project is 800000 square meters. It is planned that it will be completed before the end of 2012. The park introduces over 100 geology information companies from home and abroad and forms a high-tech industrial park with the output value over 10 Billion RMB and 20000 employees.
The deputy mayor Gou Zhongwen addressed on the commencement ceremony. He said that Beijing Municipal Government together with state survey and drawing bureau constructed the international top National Geology Information Technology Industrial Park at Beijing in November, 2010. This project not only is an important event for the development of national surveying and mapping industry, but also is an important measure for Beijing Municipal Government to fulfill the outline of 12th fiver-year plan of the state and quicken the cultivation of strategic rising industry. The official construction commencement of the industrial park marked that the development of the park made a progress and the geology information industry of Beijing will enter into the fast development stage. It definitely will be advantageous for promoting the quick development of Beijing s information industry and modern information service industry, and playing an important role in implementing the development strategy- humanism Beijing, technological Beijing and green Beijing . He hoped that, the high standard, high starting point and high quality industrial park constructed by state survey and drawing bureau will make its efforts to realize the integration and concentrated development of Geology Information Company and create the park into the international top geology information industry s Silicon Valley. The municipal relevant function department and Shunyi District government shall fully coordinate with the park s construction, quicken the work tempo, and ensure that the project can be completed as soon as possible and exercise its function as early as possible. In addition, the municipal relevant function department and Shunyi District government shall try their best to create the industrial park into the new highlight of the capital economy and make contribution to the fast and good development of the capital economy.
General Chief of Shunyi District addressed on the construction commencement ceremony. He said that the construction commencement of National Geology Information Technology Industrial Park is a beginning to the project construction of Shunyi District, deep promotion of industrial structure adjustment, quickening of economic development mode conversion, and realization of 12th five-year plan.
