Sichuan Provincial Delegation of higher education institutions visits YUFE

On November 24th, a delegation led by Su Ping, Head of the Cooperation and Exchange Office of the Sichuan Provincial Education Department visited Yunnan University of Finance and Economics (YUFE) and had a meeting with Yin Hong, Vice President of YUFE. The delegation consisted of heads of international cooperation and exchange offices from more than ten higher education institutions in Sichuan Province including the University of Electronic Science and Technology.

During the meeting, Professor Yin Hong briefly introduced the basic situation of our university with a special emphasis on the conditions of our international cooperation and exchange efforts in recent years. Leaders of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office of YUFE then presented their methods in running and extending joint programs, and their management of overseas students and foreign instructors. Representatives from each of the Sichuan universities said they had learned many worthwhile things and hoped they had enhanced cooperation with YUFE through this visit.
The delegation paid this visit to Yunnan province in a bid to share experience in international cooperation and exchange. They selected YUFE as one of their destinations based upon the recommendation of the Yunnan Provincial Education Department.
