Italian Ties Strengthened

Professors Giacomo Rambaldi and Grazia Franzoni from the Institute for Technology and Commerce (Instituto Tecnico Commerciale, Boselli) visited Zhaoqing University on November the 24^th, 2006. The vice-secretary of Zhaoqing University CPC, Mr. Zeng Zheng met with the Italian delegation and exchanged views about plausible cooperation between the two institutions. During their stay, the guests also visited the Matteo Ricci exhibition in Li Qiao Lou to celebrate, The Year of Italy in China - 2006.

A special academic forum about Matto Ricci and Sino-Western cultural exchange was held at Zhaoqing University on the 9^th and 10^th of December 2006. An assembly of international and national participants engaged in discussions on Matteo Ricci s contributions toward the proliferation of civilization and culture.
