University of Reading Delegation Visits GDUFS

March 17 - The University of Reading Vice-Chancellor Professor Gordon Marshall and the University's Henley Business School Director of International Office Mr. Neil Logan visited GDUFS this Monday. GDUFS President Professor Sui Guangjun and Vice-President Zhong Weihe welcomed the guests. In attendance were GDUFS International Office Director Jiao Fangtai, MBA Education Center Executive Dean Sun Jianjun, Faculty of English Language and Culture Dean Liu Yan, and TESOL Project Director Zhou Qiming.

The meeting

At the meeting, President Sui Guangjun briefed the guests on GDUFS's history, orientation and development strategies. He told the guests that GDUFS has been running exchange programs and cooperating with world-class oversea high schools. He said the delegation's visit gave an impetus to the collaboration between our school's FELC and the University of Reading on the MA project of TESOL. He proposed cooperation in furtherance of MBA and undergraduate education. Besides, he invited the guests to give seminars for staff and students.

Chancellor Marshall said that the University of Reading is a top rank comprehensive university in UK, and the University is always seeking world-class partners. He hoped the two universities will have more cooperation, and he spoke highly of the GDUFS's MBA and undergraduate education exchange programs.

About the University of Reading
