Delegation from UCLan Visits GDUFS

October 21st-Mr. Brian Harris, Chairman of the Board for the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan, UK) visited GDUFS' North Campus. His delegation was received by President Zhong Weihe on October 19th. The purpose of the visit was to further cooperation between the two universities.

A reception was held at the InternationalCollege where both sides actively shared their opinions on students'furthering their education in Britain and their job opportunities when they get back home. The delegation also visited the library after being showed around the campus.

The most significant part of the visit was a discussion held about exchange programs and cooperation at a doctoral level. With a long-term cooperative relationship, Mr. Zhong Weihe recalled the history of relations and delivered his hope in increasing the cooperation of the faculty exchange program. Both expressed great confidence in further cooperation. After the meeting, Mr. Zhong Weihe and Mr. Brian Harris exchanged gifts and took pictures to mark the occasion.
