On March 5th, the 8th Jessup (China) International Law Moot Court Competition ended in People s University of China. He Jiajia, Xiong Zhuojue, Xu Yannan, Zhang Qincheng and Zhao Xinxing who are five graduate students from SMU Law School took part in the competition and won the 2nd place.

Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition is a professional law competition organized by International Law Students Association. The competition could date back to 1959 with a history of 50 years. It involves 900-plus universities from over 100 countries every year, which nails down the reputation as the largest moot court competition with the longest history worldwide and is honored as the Olympics in the field of international law studies.
