President CHEN with University Leaders Making Surveys in Yibin, Zigong

For the purposes of strengthening the cooperation between SWJTU and cities(including local enterprises), promoting the transformation of scientific and technical achievements, and enhancing the capacity for serving the society, from March 5th to 7th 2008, President CHEN Chenyang, Vice President JIANG Gefu, Vice President LIN Anlin led department principals of Industry Groups, Industrial Centre, Science and Technology, Design Institute, and other principals concerned to pay the visit to Yibin and Zigong.

During the visit, President CHEN Chunyang had separate discussions with party and political leaders of the two cities. President CHEN Chunyang particularly introduced the operation and developmental strategies of SWJTU, and expressed the good wishes and plans to participate in the economical construction of the local area, especially in the fields of communication, logistics and machinery manufacturing, and to strengthen the cooperation on talents cultivation and other relevant cooperative potentials.
