Visit by Delegates from I-Shou University for Cooperation and Exchanges

On January 26th, Prof. Yen Chihjung, the Vice-president of I-Shou University and Dr. Chou Chaomin, the Dean of Student Affairs, visited SDU. Vice-president Fan Liming met with the guests.

During the meeting, Vice-president Fan reviewed the history of cooperation and exchanges between the two universities and expected further academic communication. Yen said the number of exchange students from the Mainland that I-Shou University receives is the highest among universities in Taiwan. There will be 250 students from the Mainland studying in ISU in the Fall Semester next year. ISU hopes to establish cooperative relations with SDU as well as other domestic universities in the areas of teacher communication, academic cooperation, and mutual cultivation of graduates. Through discussion, basic agreements were reached on exchange visits of teachers and mutual cultivation of graduates. The signing of some cooperative programs agreements will be arranged soon.
